The People Behind Your Investment Strategy

We're a small group based in Dublin who've spent years figuring out how to make automated investing actually work for Irish clients. No massive corporate hierarchy—just people who care about getting this right.

Started in 2019 when three of us kept seeing the same problems with generic investment platforms that didn't understand the Irish market. We built Zredyne to fix that.

Core Team

Each of us brings something different to the table. We don't always agree on everything, but that tension actually makes our platform better.

Cillian Riordan, Co-Founder and Technical Lead

Cillian Riordan

Co-Founder & Technical Lead

Built the automation engine that powers everything. Spent eight years in fintech before this, mostly fixing problems with legacy systems. Coffee enthusiast who tests every algorithm update personally before it goes live.

Siobhan Hennessey, Investment Strategy Director

Siobhan Hennessey

Investment Strategy Director

Designs the frameworks that guide our automation decisions. Previously worked with institutional investors in London and Frankfurt. Returned to Dublin in 2018 and immediately noticed the gap in accessible automated investing options here.

Darragh Mulvaney, Client Operations Manager

Darragh Mulvaney

Client Operations Manager

Handles everything client-facing and makes sure our systems actually solve real problems. Started in traditional wealth management and got frustrated with the barriers everyday investors faced. Joined us in 2021 to change that.

How We Actually Work Together

Most mornings start with coffee at our Ashtown office and a quick check on overnight market movements. We don't have formal meetings unless something needs proper discussion.

Cillian usually spots technical issues before they become problems. Siobhan challenges every assumption about risk models—sometimes annoyingly, but it's kept us from making costly mistakes. Darragh translates what clients are asking for into features we can build.

We review every client portfolio monthly, not because we have to, but because automated doesn't mean hands-off. Real people check the work our algorithms do.

Why We Focus on Irish Investors

Living here means we understand the specifics—tax implications, currency considerations, how Irish regulations actually affect investment choices. We've all dealt with platforms designed for UK or US markets that just don't translate well.

When the 2023 Budget changed deemed disposal rules, we had updates ready within days because we'd already been monitoring the proposed legislation. That kind of responsiveness only happens when you're deeply embedded in the market you serve.

Every automation rule we write considers Irish financial reality first. Generic platforms bolt on Irish support as an afterthought—we built ours from the ground up for this market.

What Drives Our Decisions

These aren't corporate values from a retreat. They're the principles we argue about when making tough calls.

Automation Should Be Transparent

Clients can see exactly what our algorithms do and why. No black box magic—just clear logic you can review anytime.

When market conditions trigger a portfolio adjustment, you get a notification explaining the reasoning. We believe you should understand what's happening with your money.

Conservative by Default

Our automation errs on the side of caution. We'd rather miss a potential gain than expose clients to unexpected risk.

Some fintech companies chase aggressive growth strategies. We optimize for steady, predictable performance because most of our clients prefer sleeping well over chasing moonshots.

Built for Real Situations

We test everything against actual Irish financial scenarios—not theoretical models that work great on paper but fall apart in practice.

Every feature gets stress-tested against things like sudden currency movements, tax year transitions, and regulatory changes we've seen affect Irish investors.

No Pretending It's Simple

Investing involves complexity. We make it manageable, not oversimplified.

Some platforms promise "set it and forget it" investing. We automate the heavy lifting but keep you informed about what's happening and why certain decisions matter for your specific situation.
